A New Blog? Maybe.

I have been considering making another attempt at keeping a sort of blog. I am still undecided if I will do so. This is simply a first post from my new iPad to see if I like the feel of it. I am using the WordPress application which seems to work pretty well. On that site, I was able to register under my usual internet handle, which is something that I wasn’t able to do with BlogSpot, though I did like that site.

It is my understanding that WordPress is more widely used and well liked. If I like this site and this service better than what I have previously used, it could keep me coming back more regularly.

If I do decide to fully return to blogging, I am likely to focus on entertainment subjects once again. I may even be more organized about it.

One idea I had was to regularly post about comics, particularly the DC Universe. Now would be a great time to begin with that since there is going to be a relaunch of all DC titles in the coming months, alongside a number of new titles. It isn’t going to be a true reboot, just an attempt by DC to get their shit straight. I, for one, am looking forward to it. I had been out of comics for a few years but I just recently got back into them. I am seriously considering reading all 52 DC titles starting in September, from launch, and the weeding out the ones that I don’t like over time. In doing this, I could keep this blog updated on the current happenings of the DCU and my thoughts on them. At the same time, I could pretend anyone gave a shit.

Another idea I had was to just continue posting random crap. The biggest problem with that is that it doesn’t build any kind of regular readership well. I’m not sure if I really need regular readers but if someone doesn’t read a blog from time to time, what’s the point of posting it at all?

Likely, I will settle on something in between these two ideas, keep it up for a while, the give up on it entirely. Hey, at least I’m honest, right?
